BOSH Director Setup
Logging in to Operations Manager for the first time post deployment, should get you to the following screen. This BOSH director tile is present by default when an OpsManager is deployed.
Using the vCenter Config pane, set up your vCenter Server for provisioning by following the prompts and filling in the respective values as shown in the screenshot below.
Remember to select the “Use Human-Readable VM Names” checkbox. Failure to do so will result in a broken ALB VS, if you have configured the VS according to my previous post.
Move on to the Director Config and enable the options shown below
Create Availability Zones as you move on to the next pane.
Create the networks that you intend to use within the foundation.
Similarly add the services and deployment networks that you have created.
Assign the AZ and Network to be used by your BOSH Director VM.
Under Security, add the root CA cert that was used to sign your wildcard TAS certificates.
Once you click Save, return to the Installation Dashboard and click on Review Pending Changes and Apply Changes.
That’s it, your BOSH director is now ready for TAS deployment.
